Patricia Malone-Smith oversees the Workforce Development Program at Thistle Farms and works part-time at the Urban League of Middle Tennessee, where she is responsible for Workforce Development. She owns and operates 3V Leadership Solutions, consulting. 

Malone-Smith has worked in various roles to include working for the State of Ohio for 17 years, including Human Resources, Small and Minority Business, Community Block Grants, Training and Development, two school districts, and various companies within Human Resources. 

Malone-Smith served in the Air National Guard for six years, and she holds a master’s of Science Degree in Administration (with a specified focus in Human Resource Management) from Central Michigan University; a bachelor of science degree in Organizational Development from Wilberforce University; an associate of liberal arts degree from Columbus State Community College; a Certified Business Advisor License from the University of Toledo, and she is a Certified Leadership Coach.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Metro Nashville Chapter, Greater Love Kingdom Building Church, Vice President of Membership for the NHBW, Vice President for the Survivor Empowerment Foundation and on the Advisory Board for Rebuilding Together Nashville. Malone-Smith is active throughout Middle Tennessee, advocating for women, children, and the elderly. She is extremely passionate about impacting lives and creating a smile wherever she goes! She has a daughter, Marquelle, and is married to Jeffrey Smith.
