Name: Liz Sitgreaves
Company: Law Offices of John Day, PC
Brief description of your job responsibilities: I provide legal representation in tort litigation cases across Tennessee for individuals who have been seriously injured and for families of wrongful death victims.
Cable Member Since: 2018 (I think?)

Why did you decide to join Cable? I joined Cable to meet and network with strong, smart, successful women.
What have you gained/learned from joining an organization like Cable? As an attorney, it is easy to get secluded into a bubble of legal professionals. By joining Cable, I’ve gained a network of women in other professions.
How would you describe the benefits of Cable to someone thinking about joining the organization? Cable provides excellent networking opportunities as well as information and inspiring programming that I can use in achieving my career and personal goals.
What would you say has been the single most defining moment in your career so far? I, along with another attorney in my firm, Brandon Bass, successfully represented a doctor who was catastrophically injured when an impaired driver hit her with his vehicle before a Williamson County jury resulting in a verdict of $18.6 million, which is believed to be the largest verdict ever in Williamson County.
What was your very first job? My first job out of law school was a judicial clerkship with Judge Frank Clement on the Tennessee Court of Appeals. It was an incredible learning experience that gave me the opportunity to work with a great boss and gain valuable experience.
If you had unlimited funds and could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I love to travel, so this changes frequently; but recently a friend went to Italy, and after seeing her posts of the incredible food and cultural sites, I’d say there!
