Why did you decide to join Cable? To connect with a diverse group of women from across Middle Tennessee who have a shared interest in moving women forward and networking with a passion.
What have you gained/learned from joining an organization like Cable? An amazing group of friends and new connections from many different companies, occupations and backgrounds. A network to call on. Continuous learning from amazing speakers and programs.
How would you describe the benefits of Cable to someone thinking about joining the organization? Networking on steroids – monthly meeting table discussions, events, speakers, social events, etc. Whatever you may need or have a question about, within Cable it is only two calls away. No six degrees of separation in this organization!
What would you say has been your biggest career achievement? Creating and leading an amazing team of co-workers while leading human resources for North and South America at Bridgestone Americas.
What is your ultimate career goal? I am living it! Retired from a successful and challenging corporate career, still working in my area of passion but on my terms and giving back to help move women forward through mentoring, coaching, and volunteering.
What was your very first job? Like most young women – babysitting. Followed by working in a restaurant as a hostess, cashier, and waitress.
