
Mary Rolando is the Health Advocacy Director for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. In that role she manages the Department’s contract with TennCare, the state’s Medicaid program; the contracts of the five Centers of Excellence for Children In or at Risk of State Custody; and staffs the Three Branches Institute. Mary participates as a Coordinating Team member for Building Strong Brains Tennessee as the Project Manager, an initiative prompted by action of the 3BI and endorsed by the Haslam Administration. Mary, who has a Master’s Degree in Behaviorism from Southern Illinois University, has held a number of policy level positions in state government, several years of experience at the Vanderbilt University Center of Excellence and extensive involvement in the Nashville community.
