CABLE 3001 – 21st Century Leadership in a Multicultural World: Managing and Leading Across Generations, Cultures, and Sectors in Communities and Organizations
William Frey of Brookings calls it a diversity explosion remaking the US workforce and electoral map. Nashville is one of the fastest growing, most diverse cities in the country.
Leading in a multicultural society is not only a given in today’s world; it is an opportunity to build on research showing diverse teams produce better solutions.
The key for the successful leader is an intentional approach: Respecting, recognizing, and building on the different perspectives and talents of every person in your organization—and realizing the power of generations, races, genders, and ethnicities working together professionally and in the community.
