Miranda Arstikaitis is all about making a difference in the world through meaningful connections and impactful initiatives. With a knack for bringing people together and a passion for driving positive change, she has had the privilege of working with some incredible organizations, leveraging her skills in development, event planning, and communication to make a tangible difference.
At Siloam Health, Miranda currently serves as the Director of Development, where she gets to spend time engaging with donors, supervising a team implementing fundraising initiatives, and crafting unforgettable events. In her short time there Siloam’s corporate investment increased by 60% and surpassed their annual fund growth targets. She also orchestrated Siloam Health’s 30th Anniversary Gala in 2022 where 700 guests celebrated three decades of care and raised over $420,000!
Before her time at Siloam Health, she was part of the team at Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee/Nurture the Next. From coordinating events that brought hundreds together to helping double their fundraising totals year over year, it was a whirlwind of excitement and impact. Plus, she managed their rebrand to Nurture the Next and secured the Make a Mark marketing grant two years in a row!
Miranda is passionate about continuing to build her skills through professional development. She is a certified Building Strong Brains advocate and completed the Volunteer Management course through the Center for Nonprofit Management. She has also participated in programs like the Young Leaders Council and is currently serving as the CABLE YLC board intern.
When she’s not busy chasing down fundraising goals or planning the next big event, you can find her spending time outside with her Australian Shepard Leo, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or getting lost in a good book. One of the most rewarding aspects of her life is her role as an advisor for Kappa Alpha Theta at Belmont University. For the past four years, she has had the privilege of mentoring college students, guiding them in the areas of service, philanthropy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion work. It’s incredibly fulfilling to ignite students’ passion for philanthropy and witness their commitment to making a positive impact in the community. In the role as advisor, she collaborates with mentees to foster a community of representation and belonging among college students, ensuring that everyone feels valued.
Miranda earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Belmont University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time there, she was a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society and Phi Alpha Honor Society, was a proud member of the Orientation staff welcoming thousands of new students year over year, and served as the Chief Marketing Officer for her sorority Kappa Alpha Theta.
