Marjorie K. Eastman
Marjorie K. Eastman earned her BA in political science at the University of California, San Diego; her MA in international security at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies; and her MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University. Along the way she was selected as White House Intern, studied abroad at University College London, School for Slavonic and East European Studies, and was an FBI’s Honors Graduate Intern. Eastman enlisted in the US Army Reserve after 9/11, because of 9/11. During her ten years in the military, she served as an Intelligence Officer and Commander. She deployed twice, once in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the other in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. She was ranked the number one military intelligence company commander in Eastern Afghanistan for the deployment cycle of 2009–2010, awarded the Bronze Star, and received the Combat Action Badge. She has a decade of experience in for profit and nonprofit organizations (Lockheed Martin and YWCA), specializing in business operations and development, change management, and Executive Leadership.
