Can you tell us a little about yourself and what led you to join Nashville Cable?

I am a Nashville native and owner of FayeVaughn Creative, a full service marketing, branding, and communications agency based in Nashville. I have a son, Braylon, who is in his junior year at Hume Fogg. I was pushed to join Cable by a close friend who told me that the women who made moves in Nashville were in this room. I joined in 2018 and have loved every moment of it.

What do you enjoy most about being a member?

I really enjoy the networking and connection making that takes place as a member. I have built relationships with women through Cable that I may have never met otherwise.

How do you see your membership in our program contributing to your personal and professional growth and development?

Cable is very intentional about programming and opportunities that meet members where they are. I am really excited about the upcoming Becoming ATHENA program and enrolling and learning from Rachel!

What inspired you to pursue your current profession, and what do you do?

As a marketing, branding, and communications professional, I was inspired to pursue this career because of my passion for helping other businesses and brands grow. My success is directly linked to the success of my clients, and I take great pride in working with them to develop customized solutions that meet their unique needs.

In my profession, I am responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating brand messaging, managing social media accounts, designing marketing materials, and analyzing data to determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. I work closely with clients to understand their goals and develop strategies to help them achieve their objectives.

What motivates me the most in this field is the opportunity to use my creative talents to solve complex business problems and help my clients achieve measurable results. I enjoy the challenge of developing unique and effective marketing solutions for each of my clients, and I take great satisfaction in seeing their businesses grow and thrive as a result of my work.

Ultimately, my goal is to continue providing high-quality marketing, branding, and communications services to help my clients succeed in a competitive marketplace.
What advice would you give to someone new to Nashville and looking to build their career or make connections in the city? If you’re new to Nashville and looking to build your career or make connections in the city, I recommend getting involved in the local community as much as possible. Nashville is a city that values connections and relationships, so meeting people and building your network is crucial.

One way to get involved is to attend networking events and professional meetups in your industry. This can be a great way to meet people who share your interests and learn more about the local job market. Another option is to volunteer or get involved with local organizations that align with your interests. Not only will you be giving back to the community, but you’ll also have the opportunity to meet people and make connections. Social media is also a great tool for building your network in Nashville. Joining local groups on platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook can help you connect with other professionals in your field and learn about job opportunities and events in the area.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to people in your network and ask for introductions or advice. Many people in Nashville are happy to help newcomers get established and find success in the city.

How do you stay motivated and inspired in your work and personal life, and what advice would you give to others who may be struggling to find their passion or purpose?

As someone who is passionate about my work and personal life, staying motivated and inspired can be challenging at times. It’s normal to experience periods of doubt or uncertainty, particularly when pursuing new goals or exploring new interests.

However, the goal is not to eliminate challenges but to learn to overcome them. Challenges and obstacles are a natural part of the journey, and it’s important to develop the resilience and determination necessary to push through them.

One way that I stay motivated is by setting clear goals and developing a plan to achieve them. However, I also recognize that sometimes the path to achieving those goals may be unclear or require adjustments along the way. During those times, I seek inspiration in the people and things around me and remain open to new opportunities and experiences that may help me stay engaged and motivated.

When it comes to finding your passion or purpose, it’s important to recognize that this is a journey that can be challenging at times. It’s okay to encounter setbacks or periods of uncertainty, as these experiences can often provide valuable insights and help you refine your goals and aspirations.

The key is to never be stopped by a challenge, but rather to learn from it and find new ways to move forward. By embracing challenges and developing the resilience and determination necessary to overcome them, you can stay motivated and inspired both in your work and personal life.
